Our M79 Automatic is something entirely new, even though it might look familiar. Inspired by the 1970s Q Timex and elevated with a 21-jewel automatic movement, this watch is a fresh interpretation of a much-loved Timex icon. The 40-hour power reserve of its Japan-sourced, self-winding movement is energized by your motion and can also be wound manually by using the crown. We’ve incorporated a stainless-steel bracelet in a nod to the retro design aesthetics of the day, while a curved, solid link construction brings added dimension into the fold. This timepiece is topped off with a black and blue unidirectional bezel, luminous dial markings, and exhibition case back that capture the bold spirit of an era that changed everything.

The 42mm diameter of D1 Ocean sits comfortably on a range of wrist sizes. Its crown protected device guarantees enhanced protection against accidental impacts, safeguarding the intricate mechanisms within. The indexes and hands on the dial, together with the pip at the 12 o’clock position on the bezel are generously coated with LumiNova® which provide optimal legibility whatever the situation. As a finishing touch, a sapphire crystal with 5 layers of anti-reflective coating protects ensures exceptional clarity, allowing for easy legibility of the dial in various lighting conditions. The screwed case back guaranteed a water resistance up to a pressure of 20 bar (200 m/660 ft).

The design of this watch is inspired by the Basilica del Redentore, the masterpiece of the Venetian architect Andrea Palladio, known as the father of the Neoclassical style. The balance of its shapes and proportions gives the case an elegant and contemporary look, making it an extremely versatile model.

Redentore 36 is equipped with an automatic caliber, designed and manufactured by the famous Japanese maison Seiko (NH35A). It has no batteries inside as it is completely mechanical. It is powered by the simple movement of the wrist from which it recovers the kinetic energy to recharge. This makes our watches objects that live together with the person who wears them, which is really fascinating.
This dive watch, which is water-resistant to a depth of 200 meters, takes its name from one of the last marvels of Venetian naval technology, the Nereide submarine. BK7 Crystal Bezel Insert
The BK7 Crystal has exceptional physical properties, is lead-free, relatively lighter and of higher quality than other glass crystals. Its properties are: low dispersion (with Abbe numbers around 60), the low refractive index (≈1.52) and high clarity. For these reasons, after a long research and development process, we decided to produce the new inserts with Nereide bezel in this material.
BGW9 Super-LumiNova®
Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 is a phosphorescent pigment, otherwise known as Lume, emits a Blue-Green glow in the dark (as the name suggest) when properly charged by either sunlight or artificial light. In a daylight condition, BGW9 is white in color.Compared to the much more widespread C1 pigment, the BGW9 has a relative brightness more than triple, making it the most widespread solution in the haute horlogerie.
